A projector projects the desired cross section onto the surface of a photopolymer vat.

Again, like SLA, the photopolymer is left in a green state so the surface is only partially reacted.

The projector means DLP machines generally have worse resolution, dependant on pixel size.

Support structures are still needed as with SLA. Post processing therefore involves removal of support structures and potential further curing.
